I can’t wait until it gets warmer.
When the days get longer and it’s like 60 degrees or better outside, I like to go sit on the outdoor furniture and do some writing. My creative juices tend to run a lot better when I’m out in the sun, as much as I don’t particularly like being out there for too long. Also, even going outside just for a little sun after being indoors for most of the winter helps my moods regulate…so to speak.
Come on spring time! And melt away the freaking snow!!!
Dear Mother Nature,
While some are chilling on their pool furniture sipping on pina colada outside while watching their children play in the pool, and occasionally yelling at them…
We up there in the north are stuck inside because it’s done absolutely nothing but rain for the whole month. Seriously, lady; can you show us how the sun looks again? I kinda depend on it so that this mood disorder is more bearable. Please? I’ll love you forever.
Rawr,
Nat Marie
PS: I need caffeine. Can you point me to the direction of some iced coffee? I also need some inspiration to work on this new site…I can has it?
Yesterday was a nice day. Hot as hell, but nice nonetheless. After (not) hearing a long story about how my mom wanted me to look into wood flooring online, I just went on to distract myself doing other things. One of those things is going outside and taking a walk (while risking an unneeded tan) and taking pictures. This is why I love spring, folks. This is the only reason why I love spring.
I figured that even though I wasn’t outside much yesterday, I’ll just stay in today. I hate the heat.
