This year goes by way too fast. In 2 weeks, I’m gonna hit the big 2-5…that scares me. Soon, I’ll be the big 3-0 and I’ll be attempting to pick gray hairs out as I see them pop up.1 I really don’t know what I’m gonna be doing for my birthday. It’d be nice to go on a vacation but that’s just not possible anymore. I was taking a look at Branson vacation packages, among some other stuff. I would love to just go away from here for even a few days or so. You know, for a change of scenery.

One of these days…

  1. I have some already…stress ftl

Open-ended question: your dream vacation

Jul

For those who aren’t aware of it, despite me mentioning it a lot, I love to travel, but I don’t do enough of it. Not much I can do with me being broke. Certainly there are some great travel deals, but yeeah. Anyway, one of the places I’d absolutely love to go to before I’m 95 years old is Japan. There’s something about Japanese culture that I’m just in love with. Oh, and not to mention, the language. I heard that it’s hard as hell to learn, but who cares! What is your dream vacation?

Oh, no fair!

I’ve never been off the East Coast of the US1. I’ve always wanted to travel all over, and if the heavens finally go my way, I will. But until then, I dream of Vegas vacations where I just gamble and somehow end up married overnight. Who knows?

Now, my mom is in the same boat. Never been off the East Coast, only been out of the country since she came here twice or three times. She gets an invite to go out west. No fair! I have friends who travel all over, and I’m stranded here in the ghetto. I want out!!

At least I have my dreams.

  1. Unless you count the two times I’ve been out of the country, but I’ve never seen the Pacific Ocean

Excuse my naivety on this, but…

I didn’t know there was a such thing as travel insurance. I guess it would cover anything that you may need for your traveling endeavors. If something gets lost or what not. I didn’t know it existed. Oops.

Well, that just means that I need one more thing to look into if I ever get to leave my little box. It will happen…eventually. I just need a sugar daddy or a high-paying job.

Hoi Thar.

Crestfallen is the 3-year-old site of a sarcastic 20-something natural-born New Yorker who goes by the name Nat Marie most days, but answers to many other things, including Shadow, Chickenhead, and "Hey Bitch!". She has a love for writing, performing arts, and cats (albeit allergic to them). You will find love, life, and a lot of writing and sarcasm sprinkled in. Enjoy.
