Hai, remember me?
Three words: writer’s block sucks.
But don’t worry, I’m still here…for another month at least. Crestfallen is expiring this year and I’m not entirely sure how I’ll afford to renew it, seeing as it’s costly for a .nu. If I don’t get to renew it, I’ll be saddened, but I have a plan B. Everyone should have a plan B. Hopefully I can find a job before then.
So what else? The holidays was crazy, lots of food like always, a full house, a full room, no privacy…I can go on. But for the most part, it was still good.
In gaming news, the level 100 wizard tried her hand at PVP…and it reminded me of how evil I can be when I’m pissed. But…well, the bf has me beat in that…he should do it more often. *giggles*
And what else…that’s pretty much it. Just saying that I’m still alive.
There’s a such thing as safe weight loss pills? Now you know my whole thing about diet pills, and I guess I can tell you a story about my adventures in PW to prove my point.
So there was this event a couple of months ago to celebrate their anniversary. They came out with these packs that had godly stuff in there. I’m talking about level 95 gear and the like. But it was all random, so you would either get crappy tokens (which actually still sold fairly well), or you would get one of these level 95 stuff.
Now while PW is F2P, they have this cash shop for those who don’t mind spending a bit of RL cash once in a while (or every day). Alternatively, you can turn in-game coin into gold (which you would normally get by using real money). These packs were cash shop items and you needed gold to buy them. So many people hit them up hard, spending thousands of real money in the matter of months. Didn’t matter if you got just the common tokens, because you can turn in these tokens for what they call “oracles”.
Oracles are simple–kill one mob for a lot of exp and spirit. Over. And over. And over. Now with these tokens in play, you can get plenty of oracles, which can make you go from level 30 to level 95 in the matter of days. Some of these same people who can afford the oracles also had some of the godly weapons and stuff waiting for them at 95. Of course, this is the easy way out, and with all easy ways out, there are shortcomings.
It doesn’t take a brain to press a few buttons, but it takes a brain to press them the right way. It takes skill to use your skills and combine them to kill what you want/need killed. Or, you can keep pressing the buttons and hope your ass don’t die. In any event, when someone powerlevels (takes the easy way out), chances are, they’re lacking the proper way to play the character. Godly gear or not, you’re still a nubbiscuit.
That goes for diet pills. That’s like taking the easy way out of the proper way to eat, to exercise, to be healthy. Godly weight or not, you’re still flabby.
Ouch.
So, I live. Yes. I’m still alive, barely. Some may think that I’ve disappeared with no trace. I’m still alive. I like to call it an interest shift. I’m not into message boards anymore, so that part of contact by others was pretty much stopped.
I’m sorry.
So for those who I haven’t opened up to (much) as of late, this is what’s been going on…in as little words as possible.
Still resume plugwhoring
Still failing miserably
Still can’t cook to save my life
Still thinking about a new idea for a play or novel
Still trying to finish the projects I already started
Still playing PW…
Escorian and Mentis–stop fighting over me, kthx
Leveled to 92
Never saw that coming…
And despite what it may seem…
I still love you, Angel and Lou. I’m sorry that I’ve been (seemingly) neglecting yall. Sometimes I would be caught up in something and I don’t notice my surroundings. It’s probably why I almost got hit by a car a few times. But seriously, old and new friends, you are always on my mind.
So yes, I’m still alive.
