Can you believe that Father’s Day is coming up soon? The mere thought of shopping for a Father’s Day gift scares me to death.

You see, my dad’s not the easiest person to shop for. He doesn’t have any set interests, so getting him something like cuff links for dad or electronics would be a waste, because he’d never use it. He still has clothes with the tags on it from 5 Christmases ago, so that’s kinda out too. What can we do in such a hopeless case?!

Thank the higher beings my fiance’s easier to shop for…all I have to do is get myself a video game and he’ll claim it as his own.

Happy New Year!

Now, the small bit of alcohol in my system has made me very amorous, and very sleepy at the same time. Unfortunately, Ronnie’s sniffles got worse as mine got a little better, so I have to fix my little problem alone before I go to bed. Going to bed horny is kinda bad.

Anyways, laters.

Okay, not really. But if the other abnormal stuff that’s going on with my body isn’t enough, I have a cold on top of it. And he also has the sniffles. Coincidence? I think not. So he’s the scapegoat at the moment. Kinda.

Our first holiday was awesome. We got woken up at 4:30 am. Yes, 4:30 am. The rooster didn’t even crow yet. After a cup of coffee and some gift opening, I went back to take a nap while Ronnie played with his new gadget–a PS3. My gifts:

A purple Snuggie. Sounds like a dorky present to give someone, but I love mine. Not only because it’s purple, but because it’s something I know damn well I’m gonna use (and have been using, especially during this sick time) because I’m always in a constant state of cold.

Earrings. Lots and lots of earrings. I love earrings as much as I love purses and stationery. Wait, lemme rephrase that. I love jewelry. So I’m always happy for any kind of jewelry. But this year I got a lot of earrings.

Stuff to make me smell (even) better. Body washes and lotions, stuff I definitely welcome because I hate stinking stuff. Which is why I always shower at least once a day1. I’m almost obsessive about it.

A camcorder/camera. Since I have a camera already, this thing will be used mostly for recording stuff. I might start videoblogging soon.

A new hoodie. My fiance knows me all too well. I love hoodies. And a hoodie that has nice faux fur inside the hood and all over the inside makes me fuzzy inside (no pun intended). It’s perfect for the Cali weather.

New pajamas. And they’re purple!! And they’re soft. So score on that too.

A new robe and slippers. They were red, but red and purple goes fairly well at times.

Outdoor stuff. I won’t be running out of hats and scarves anytime soon.

Ronnie’s mom surprised us with a personalized ornament. It had two reindeer on it and our names were in our respective favorite colors (mine in purple, his in…ew, green). This present was my favorite by far.

Chocolate. Because I’m always running out, but I’m not running out anytime soon. I even have ultimate Oreos (it is nothing like the ones you see if you google that. It’s Oreos with chocolate coating). I think I need to try one.

namari.org. This was an early present, but it should be added anyways.

So all in all, not too bad. I appreciate every present I get, big or small. I wasn’t even expecting all that I got either. Most of it was from his family, some who have yet to meet me in person.

And since I’m out of stuff to say, and since I can no longer breathe through my nose, I’m going to disappear. Laters.

How was your holiday? Did you get all (or most) that you wanted?

The holidays are pretty much over now. I don’t know if I should be happy or sad. No more holiday songs, no more pretty lights, no more snow…wait, I’m in Cali, there’s no such thing (sadface). Anyway, now that all that’s all done and over with, I wonder if Santa’s been good to you this year. He’s been a lot better to me than I would have expected this year. Of course, since my phone’s essentially in the shitter, I was hoping for something like a htc desire 2.2. But maybe for my birthday.

I meant to do this a while back when Nichole posted hers, but oops. Bad memory tends to get worse when you’re perma-nauseous. But yeah, holidays are coming, blah blah blah. And Ronnie’s being really evil. I know that I have a few presents already, but he’s doing nothing more than teasing me about it, and I want to throw pillows at him. Anyway, on with the list!

Step one
Make a post to your blog, tumblr, facebook, myspace, what have you. The important thing is to make sure these wishes are things you really want and that people can see the post. If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it’s your address or just an email address at which you can be contacted by potential wish-grantors.
Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your post, so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step two
Surf around your friends list/blogroll/RSS feeds (or friends friends, or just random places ) to see who has posted their list. If you have a list be sure to leave it in my comments section so I can view your wishes! If you see a wish you can grant, and it’s in your heart to do so, make someone’s wish come true. Sometimes someone’s trash is another’s treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don’t want or a gift certificate you won’t use–or even know where you could get someone’s dream purebred Basset Hound for free–do it.

Wishlist

Like in real life, I wasn’t expecting to get anything from Ronnie’s family (even though they love me). I’m not expecting it here either. But if you do grant a wish, throw me an email.

Flickr pro account renewal. I haven’t been able to renew this since my income’s limited to this site.

Perfect World International game cards. Yes, I’m a dork. Ultimate Game Cards are okay too. They come in $10, $20, and I believe $50.

Gift cards to Target, Amazon, and any plus size woman’s store. I had to leave a lot of my winter clothes due to space constraints1

Stationery. That, too, I had to leave back in New York. I miss my endless bunch of books.

Some light. So that I can figure out why the fucking hell I’m perma-nauseated. (At least there’s no vomiting. That’s a good thing, right?!)

Donations, big or small, directed to wtfshadow@gmail.com (no porn please; that’s Ronnie’s area, not mine)

Victoria’s Secret body splashes. Mine is running out

Purses. Bags. Any kind is awesome. I love bags like a normal woman loves shoes.

A year’s supply of layouts. Lol.

A stable job where I actually go into an interview and fucking get one!

Other Wishlists

Nichole

Janet

Dez

Jenn

Caity

Jacinta

You here? *blushy smiley*

Now I’m gonna go eat before Ronnie thinks I’m dead.

I was hit with a $50 overweight fee with just the clothes I brought ↩
