I meant to do this a while back when Nichole posted hers, but oops. Bad memory tends to get worse when you’re perma-nauseous. But yeah, holidays are coming, blah blah blah. And Ronnie’s being really evil. I know that I have a few presents already, but he’s doing nothing more than teasing me about it, and I want to throw pillows at him. Anyway, on with the list!

Step one
Make a post to your blog, tumblr, facebook, myspace, what have you. The important thing is to make sure these wishes are things you really want and that people can see the post. If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it’s your address or just an email address at which you can be contacted by potential wish-grantors.
Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your post, so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step two
Surf around your friends list/blogroll/RSS feeds (or friends friends, or just random places ) to see who has posted their list. If you have a list be sure to leave it in my comments section so I can view your wishes! If you see a wish you can grant, and it’s in your heart to do so, make someone’s wish come true. Sometimes someone’s trash is another’s treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don’t want or a gift certificate you won’t use–or even know where you could get someone’s dream purebred Basset Hound for free–do it.

Wishlist

Like in real life, I wasn’t expecting to get anything from Ronnie’s family (even though they love me). I’m not expecting it here either. But if you do grant a wish, throw me an email.

Flickr pro account renewal. I haven’t been able to renew this since my income’s limited to this site.

Perfect World International game cards. Yes, I’m a dork. Ultimate Game Cards are okay too. They come in $10, $20, and I believe $50.

Gift cards to Target, Amazon, and any plus size woman’s store. I had to leave a lot of my winter clothes due to space constraints1

Stationery. That, too, I had to leave back in New York. I miss my endless bunch of books.

Some light. So that I can figure out why the fucking hell I’m perma-nauseated. (At least there’s no vomiting. That’s a good thing, right?!)

Donations, big or small, directed to wtfshadow@gmail.com (no porn please; that’s Ronnie’s area, not mine)

Victoria’s Secret body splashes. Mine is running out

Purses. Bags. Any kind is awesome. I love bags like a normal woman loves shoes.

A year’s supply of layouts. Lol.

A stable job where I actually go into an interview and fucking get one!

Other Wishlists

Nichole

Janet

Dez

Jenn

Caity

Jacinta

You here? *blushy smiley*

Now I’m gonna go eat before Ronnie thinks I’m dead.

…Okay, maybe not. But this is the obligatory “What did I get for Christmas” post. Now, I didn’t take pictures of everything, but I got a few things in.

I actually got two bags. My sister got me a Kathy Van Zeeland bag with a wallet. It’s really cute. Just need something in baby blue. This one, on the other hand, can match with almost anything in my wardrobe. Since I love bags and purses, this is one of the easiest ways to go when it comes to gift-giving. Next to the Amazon gift card that is.

[more stuff under the cut]

The holidays are (almost) over, and all of the presents are gone from the tree…well, other than a few for my nephews, but they’ll be back over on Tuesday to open them up. Now it’s time to look forward to 2009. I wish I had something intoxicating for that night. I will need it. Until then, I have to deal with the bickering of children. Oh. Fucking. Joy.

I will leave you with a picture in all my boredom and weirdness. Do not ask. Whatever you do, do not ask.

To listen to this blog and song in all my vocal glory, click below.

The holiday season is finally winding down. Finally. I swear it; I think that it’s been shoved down our throats before Halloween. That’s 3 months of stressing over what to get for relatives, even the ones who won’t even get their own parents presents (long story). Then thousands of dollars and plus 15 pounds later, you’re busy working your ass off in more ways than one just to get ready for the next one. Ain’t that a bitch?

I am in the spirit just enough to not act Grinchy around small children. I’ve decided on baking some sugar cookies (which reminds me–I need to get some recipes). Children will enjoy it, diabetics will hate me. I love the Christmas carols, both traditional and contemporary. A few nights ago on Plurk, a fan of mine started singing (writing) “Last Christmas” originally by WHAM!. Immediately after reading it, I replied with a line out of the song. Although this song does remind me of him, it hasn’t kept me from belting it out. Santa wasn’t too generous in the love area for me, but it’s okay. I’m going to send an email to a Leprechaun from now so that I can be sent love by St. Patrick’s Day.

The thing I’m going to miss is my mom’s baked macaroni and cheese. You can’t get me to eat macaroni and cheese any other way, and she only cooks it at most 3 times a year. My mom has a creative hand in cooking, and for Thanksgiving this year, she made mashed potatoes with cheese. I gave her the WTF look, but she did it anyway. Now she came up with another idea–putting meat in the mac and cheese. Once again, WTF look. Then I said, “do not mess with the macaroni and cheese.” I like to nom nom, not puke puke, m’kay?

I’ll have to see if she listened.

But anyway, while it’s sad to see that after this Thursday there is no point of keeping Christmas lights up, it’s also a sigh of relief. Thank goodness it’s over and thank goodness I survived. I added the song “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” immediately after the voice blog recording1. Enjoy, and Happy Holidays.

PS: Today is the beginning of winter. That is teh sucks.

I seem to be coming down with a bit of a cold. Thank you Mother Nature! Excuse the singing. ↩

I like this idea, and the creative person in me can probably dream something up. However, I need to be steered in the direction of ideas.
