WTB (Want to Buy) Inspiration

I feel like I’ve neglected this site. I renewed it for the reason that it is my way to express myself. While I have books upon books to write in for that reason, you can’t really share it with others. I need a new layout, and I was working on one, but I might scrap it out of fear that it’s too bright. Want to buy inspiration; anyone have any for sale?

Hell, even writing can be hard for me at times. I would write a bit and about 5 minutes later, I’m bored. Maybe I am growing out of this site. Dunno, but I really need to rekindle the flame for this site.

Any suggestions?

I promise that it will not take 6 months (give or take) for another layout again.

But yes, I finally dragged myself away from PWI¹ long enough to actually be productive. I did change a few things from the screenshot a while back (as I always do). I’m also 99.99999% sure that I’m going to find something wrong and try to figure out why the hell it isn’t working. But I am loving this color scheme. Totally different from what I do. The browns, that is.

Since it is about 4am, I should be going. Maybe I’ll think of a story that surrounds leads for insurance while I sleep. Did you know that a couple of my writing pieces were inspired by dreams? In that case, I should write a horror play where someone gets killed in some gruesome way.²

Hey all.

For the past 3 years, Crestfallen’s been a great part of my life. Yes, we’ve had some rough moments, but we’ve lived through it. I didn’t know that I’d last this long, but I’m a writer. I love to write, whether it be the dark humor entries or my Impromptu Shorties(TM). It’s been an outlet for me, and plenty have been reading. I’m grateful for that.

However, all semi-good things must come to an end.

Due to a lot of stress in my life, I’ve decided to close Crestfallen . I’m sure a few of you have noticed my disappearance as of late, but I’m pretty much at a time where the internet doesn’t even excite me anymore. So I need to separate myself from it as much as possible. Unfortunately, this means leaving this site and Plurk as well, although they seem to be closing too.

I want to thank everyone for the good times, the unintentional drama, and the lulz. I love you all, and I’ll see you on the flip side.

Oh…what’s today’s date, Cresty? April 1st, you say? Oh! Shit! It’s April Fool’s Day!

Hai all. If you have gotten this far, that means that you have been fooled. I ain’t going nowhere. I’m working on a new layout…slowly, but surely. I was trying to do it last night after PW went down for maintenance, but I was too busy speaking to an ex-guildie of mine. And by the way, Plurk did an April Fool’s joke on us as well. Bitter? Nice.

One of my earliest memories is of when I learned to read. At the age of 4 I was getting the hang of putting a sentence together and actually understanding what it meant. My mother had a very, *very* bad habit of reading while she was in the toilet (usually doing what you might know as “#2?) and this used to piss my father off, especially when both toilets were in use and he needed to relieve himself. Now, being very interested in my new found literacy, I would read every book I could get my hands on, and thanks to my mother – who was and still is a veracious reader – I had lots of children’s books at my disposal. One morning while in the toilet (on a school morning too!) I decided to read on of the books my mother bought me on the previous Saturday. I was deeply into my book when my father banged on the door and screamed at me that we were running to late and that I should get a move on. I said okay, but went back to my book. Minutes later he opens the door to see me in half of my school uniform, deeply engrossed in my book. My father was mad and had a small hissy fit, but my mother was hovering in the background, beaming at her only child reading a book while taking a dump.

3 years ago, I moved my blog (and everything else along with it) from unorthodox-of-me.org to crestfallen.nu. In three short years, I’ve been loved, hated, and looked at as “meh” and this site’s name was attached to it. So as I send my baby to preschool, I thought I would start a contest.

A month ago, I started a contest to celebrate said birthday. I laughed, however, when I realized that I had exactly three entries. But three is a helluva lot more than zero, I say. So without further ado, here are your choices!
