The plateau sucks.

So you all know about my weight loss fiasco. I ended up losing about 65 pounds and now I’m at that plateau. Where I’m not gaining (a good thing), but not losing either (a bad and frustrating thing). It’s like a perma-plateau in my case and it just sucks. At this point, some people would have given up and grabbed some weight loss pills and hoped for the best. But I’m not like that. So it’s like damn frustrating.

Open-Ended Question: An alternative to a deadly addiction?

Apr

I’ve heard of the whole concept of an electronic cigarette before. Apparently it’s a safer alternative to the real thing; it has water, nicotine and some other impossible to pronounce ingredients. But yet, it doesn’t have the tar and 40 deadly stuff that regular cigarettes have. You know, the stuff that they talk about in commercials constantly? It’s a safe alternative (or so it’s believed), but is it enough to pull in the heavy tar-addicts? Or even better…all of these commercials are trying to combat smoking. It appears that this is trying to counter that. Now I would never try something like this even if it is safer than the real thing. I’ve never smoked a thing in my life, and I have no intent on starting now. However, for those who are trying to cut down or quit, could this be their ticket? Would this electronic cigarette help them quit?

It’s almost that time again…

I can’t wait until it gets warmer.

When the days get longer and it’s like 60 degrees or better outside, I like to go sit on the outdoor furniture and do some writing. My creative juices tend to run a lot better when I’m out in the sun, as much as I don’t particularly like being out there for too long. Also, even going outside just for a little sun after being indoors for most of the winter helps my moods regulate…so to speak.

Come on spring time! And melt away the freaking snow!!!

…There’s a such thing?

Maybe this is just me being more of a homebody, but I had no clue that there was a such thing as commercial real estate. For commercial buildings. It does make sense though. We know that the home real estate market is kinda…sucky in places. How about commercial buildings? How is their market? Hm…I may never know, but even so, I probably won’t care after this. In other unrelated news, I hate dealing with flakes. That is all.

Hoi Thar.

Crestfallen is the 3-year-old site of a sarcastic 20-something natural-born New Yorker who goes by the name Nat Marie most days, but answers to many other things, including Shadow, Chickenhead, and "Hey Bitch!". She has a love for writing, performing arts, and cats (albeit allergic to them). You will find love, life, and a lot of writing and sarcasm sprinkled in. Enjoy.
