Step one
Make a post to your blog, tumblr, facebook, myspace, what have you. The important thing is to make sure these wishes are things you really want and that people can see the post. If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it’s your address or just an email address at which you can be contacted by potential wish-grantors.
Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your post, so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step two
Surf around your friends list/blogroll/RSS feeds (or friends friends, or just random places ) to see who has posted their list. If you have a list be sure to leave it in my comments section so I can view your wishes! If you see a wish you can grant, and it’s in your heart to do so, make someone’s wish come true. Sometimes someone’s trash is another’s treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don’t want or a gift certificate you won’t use–or even know where you could get someone’s dream purebred Basset Hound for free–do it.

Like in real life, I wasn’t expecting to get anything from Ronnie’s family (even though they love me). I’m not expecting it here either. But if you do grant a wish, throw me an email.

• Flickr pro account renewal. I haven’t been able to renew this since my income’s limited to this site.
• Perfect World International game cards. Yes, I’m a dork. Ultimate Game Cards are okay too. They come in $10, $20, and I believe $50.
• Gift cards to Target, Amazon, and any plus size woman’s store. I had to leave a lot of my winter clothes due to space constraints¹
• Stationery. That, too, I had to leave back in New York. I miss my endless bunch of books.
• Some light. So that I can figure out why the fucking hell I’m perma-nauseated. (At least there’s no vomiting. That’s a good thing, right?!)

This time next year, I’ll be a quarter of a century old. This year, I’m 24, and you know what I did? Due to me going to sleep after what was the longest Perfect World quest I’ve ever been in…at 7am, I slept for practically the whole day. It’s 7pm now and I feel completely drained. But nothing a little bit of caffeine can’t fix.

Speaking of caffeine, you know how chocolate has caffeine in it right? My best friends got me this lovely thing here.

This thing exudes orgasms. For real. That’s chocolate cheesecake, by the way. In four different flavors.

Speaking of, time to eat. I have no clue what I’m eating, since my mom, who is as Jamaican as Jamaican comes¹, went the Irish direction and made cabbage and briscit. I can’t stand the smell of cabbage, and the other stuff…no thank you.

Thanks for your feedback about the last entry. Since then, I was offered a temp job in office work at the same place I go every day. The man who is helping me along the job search decided that while something comes up, he’s going to let me work for a few hours for him at the receptionist desk. I do training this week, then next Monday I start. It’s only for 3 days, but it’s paid, so I’ll have a little bit of pocket change. Something that is truly appreciated. I’m also getting more opportunities for Pay Per Post because they just updated my Google PR and Alexa Rank, so now other stuff is opening up that pays a little more. Makes me happy now.

In other news, I’m considering speed dating because at this pace, I’ll be 95 before I get any kind of action. Has anyone tried it? I’d like to know what I’m getting myself into. I’m not one for one-night stands (unless one thing would be out the way *winkwinknudge*), and I don’t want someone who’s going to just stay with me until he gets some. I’m pulling out all the stops though–I’m not getting any younger, despite me being still young. Six-year-olds get more action than I do, and that, my friends, is sad.

But anyway, more plugwhoring. I’ve decided to go on and revive the original idea for P739. So far, the members who are active are very gung-ho about it, which is great. But we need a few more active members to help out. So if you are 17.5 (preferably 18) and over, check this out.

I’ve decided to make a small board directory called Bitty Boards. Why Bitty Boards you ask? We could use any other synonym for “small”, but why do that, when we can alliterate? I’m working on that right now. I’m also thinking about doing a webring/clique for left-handed bloggers. But that’s not a definite. I’m also still working on Antihero, which I haven’t touched in a few weeks, but I will be. AND on top of all of this, I have a layout to do for Lou. Good luck to my ass.

I haven’t done a completely random blog in ages, so here is one.

So let’s see…nothing much has gone on for a while. I’m still single, and Fucking Gorgeous has made like a tree and left. I really miss him. I really do. I really don’t think that there was any guy who made me feel the way he did. I don’t know if there ever will be, but hey…can’t fix that one.

My mom finally met the rest of the gang that I hang out with every day on Saturday. Just as I suspected, my mom actually liked them. They came over to my house for a barbeque/birthday party, and we played Spades (of course, we’re the Dysfunctional Spades Players), and we taught my nieces how to play Blackjack. Note to self: do not teach a 7-year-old Blackjack. They’ll kick your ass without even trying. Good times, I tell you.

I realize why summer is the hardest time for me when it comes to losing weight. Give me barbequed chicken, and I will be one happy camper, especially around July 4th. I just need to get over the bbq barrier, and I’ll be all right. Even chocolate isn’t ingested as often as usual. Today was probably the first time in about a week since I’ve had it. I couldn’t go days without it before. I replace that with ice for some reason.

I will have my new layout up. I’m still working on it, and I decided to get rid of some things. I had Javascript in it, so I just did away with it with concerns of people with disabled Javascripts. I’m also going to do away with the review site project for now. As for Antihero, I might go a completely different direction with it. I don’t know though. I am most likely going to start the dream journal, provided that I remember to start writing them down. I do remember some of my dreams, but they’re usually the more vivid dreams that make me say “what the fuck” myself. It’s called box full of dreams. Yes, it was meant to be in all lowercase letters. It’s also a poem that I wrote with the same format, so it will stay that way.

I’m considering moving to Alaska for just the summer. Last week, it was like 90 degrees for days on end. Then there was a big-ass thunderstorm that scared me literally shitless; I’m usually feeling safer in my basement, but it was that bad that I didn’t even step foot down there. There were tree branches down and everything. That hobag Mother Nature! I swear it; if this is any indication of what’s to come this month and next month (especially next month), then I’m moving to a brick-ass cold climate. That’s not like me to say, but the heat is unbearable, especially when you can strip down to your drawers and still feel hotter than a cold day in Hell.

I’m done. Random blogs don’t seem right to me…not now anyway. Eh, I’ll get over it. Laters, gators.

Okay, so I guess this is where I say that I’ve had a painfully uneventful week. I’m thinking Fucking Gorgeous is a flirt. And that sucks monkeys, but I’m not ruling anything out just yet. He’s on vacation this week (dammit, I don’t have my dose), so…psh. But that just gives me more time to prepare for bone-jumping.

I finally started my volunteer job at the All Stars Project. It was amazing. One of the easiest jobs ever. I’m on house staff, and on Saturday, I was greeting. Despite popular belief, I’m not exactly the most outgoing person in the world, but it’s getting a little better (I have to work on the eye contact issue I have¹). They fed and got the audience tipsy, then when the house opened for the play, we took up the rest of the food. They had some grilled chicken and that was freaking great. Then I added some ranch dressing…oh, so freaking good. It didn’t help that I didn’t eat a lot during the day, but I guess it was well worth it maybe?

The funniest thing happened today. It was a stereotypical blonde moment² to end all blonde moments. My mom was replacing the batteries for the carbon monoxide alarm, and she tested it. It chirped, so she asked me why it was chirping. I told her that it chirps when you test it. Then she asks what the flashing red button means. I told her that it says to “move to fresh air”. So she says “then move it to fresh air”. While moving it to “fresh air” (yes, I actually did it, which probably helped the funny factor of it all), I told her that I think when they say to “move to fresh air”, they mean that we should move to fresh air. We were rolling after that one! You know what I don’t get though? They have “move to fresh air” on the alarm, thinking that people are actually going to wait a second to read what it says. I can imagine it…

*chirp chirp chirp*
“Oh shit, it’s the CO alarm! Let’s see what’s going on. Oh, it says move to fresh air. Okay, let’s move you to fresh–*chokes, keels over and dies*”

Plugwhoring time! My dearest Angel has given Alecia METAMORPHOSIS.NU. I want to welcome Alecia back to the blogging world because she disappeared for like 7 months and told her that I hope that she comes back eventually. This was like last week, lol. Oh how she works so quickly. So Alecia, my darling, welcome back.

New Project Alert! I’m still working on Antihero, and I’m most likely going to move the site to the CF domain. I’m not sure if I’m going to do the portfolio at DTM.org. I found the reason why I’m putting it off. I lost interest a long time ago. At least with Antihero, I’m actually working on a few things. Maybe I should explain the whole objective for Antihero.

Everyone and their momma have “you” content all over their sites. It’s brushes, icons, tutorials…stuff like that. The thing is that a lot of this stuff is overdone, and in a lot of cases, not done very well. So the objective for Antihero is to break that trend. It’s supposed to really emphasize original work. So basically, every on Antihero is supposed to be all original stuff–brushes, fonts, and even Windows skins. I’ve been working on the fonts and skins for a while. But the thing is that I want to finish at least 5 fonts and 2 skins before I actually open the site. I’m on one font and one skin. And I haven’t even touched the brushes yet. There will be no tutorials, and the fonts will not be lifted from other sites (a lot of them say to not redistribute anyway). So there it is.

Now for the new project. Since I’ve pretty much scrapped the portfolio (for now), I thought that I’d work on something else. This one might be up a lot quicker than even Antihero. I’m thinking of doing a review site. Yes, I know exactly what you’re going to say. I have experience doing reviews, since I was part of AGn Reviews for a while. I’m not going to be completely nasty. Now in order to start it off, I need a few guinea pigs. So if you want a review of your site from me, then email me (choiceofcinderel [at] aim.com).

I thought that Xposure was dead. Apparently some people are still getting emails, and I stopped a long time ago. Someone commented on my site clearly fishing for comments, and that’s not right. Reply to the blog with something of substance. I know that I lack substance in my blog sometimes, but…really. I should really go to that person’s site and say “oh, that sucks, cool site though” without reading a thing. I feel like 333 right now–half evil.

¹: It turns out that I have this issue more with guys I have a crush on. So Fucking Gorgeous obviously has noticed it.
