With me suffering from seasonal-affective depression, it absolutely sucks for my emotions during the winter. The lack of daylight drives me up a freaking wall. As you may know, I’m also deathly afraid of the dark–if I take a nap at 2pm, I’m up at 4pm (yes, long nap, so sue my sleep-deprived ass) and it is absolutely dark in my room. My solution–a night light, but still, I like when I would wake up from a 2-3 (sometimes 4 depending on how crappy I feel) nap, and the sun’s still out. Makes me warm and fuzzy inside.
I should look into Myrtle Beach vacations for the summer though. I’m a city girl, but I heard that even a change of scenery at times does wonders to my crappy moods.
