Well, that sucks.
I was going to send out my new resume to someone from my father’s job, then the unthinkable happened.
I had three copies–several on paper, one on floppy (which I can’t access unless I go somewhere with a floppy disk drive) and one on CD, which I can use. Now I’m getting ready to send the resume, I have the disk in and all…
And the disk is empty. Are you kidding me? So now I have to try and hunt down the person who also has a copy on her computer so that she can email it then I can put it on my computer and a free online backup site…and another disk. Now I’m extremely paranoid. Doh!

Well that is life. It it doesn’t kill us it makes us stronger. You probably will back-up stuff in future!

That bites.
I’ve had that happen, sadly. These days I’m big on back-ups and back-ups of the back-ups, because you just never know!
Your posts are so clever..
