One night I had a dream that I took this thing called Quicktrim. It was in liquid form and it tasted really good. Kinda like a strawberry daiquiri. Maybe it tasted too good; I drank the whole bottle. Then I fell asleep. The next morning, I woke up and I felt somehow different. I just rolled out of bed and went into my bathroom. Something didn’t seem right…I looked…different.
I was skinny.
I was absolutely ecstatic; I was jumping up and down! I ran down the stairs, and into my kitchen. Then I heard the floor crack.
And crack some more.
And crack even more.
And just as it was going to give away I wake up in a cold sweat. But something still didn’t feel right.
My bed broke.
This is supposed to be an acne treatment pill? (Didn’t know there was a such thing, but I digress)
All right, so I saw this thing about accutane side effects. Didn’t know what accutane was until recently, but I just read it. Apparently this thing has the world’s longest side effect list ever. This thing causes you to want to sleep, makes you be in a lot of pain, messes with your moods, may kill your unborn child…wtf? Really?!
At times I get a sudden acne breakout, but nothing too serious, and this isn’t supposed to be taken for mild breakouts. But who in their right mind would actually try this to get rid of their acne?
I’ve never even heard of a public safety degree. Hell, I didn’t even know that such a field existed.
With me being the theater lover I am, I don’t think I’d go into a field like this (never mind the fact that I don’t particularly know what it’s good for). However, I’m sure that there are many others who has knowledge of this field, has a huge passion for it, and will study it until their eyeballs fall out. I came across a school that provides a Master’s in public safety administration. I read up on it, to learn a little more about it. It’s a field of…well safety relations. If you’re in law enforcement, EMS, fire services and the like, you’ll enjoy this. Also, it is an online university; so you can do your courses between working, children, grumpy parents, etc.
Once again, I’m of the creative persuasion, so this isn’t for me. However, this looks like an interesting field for those who have an interest in it.
