No matter what.

I love you, no matter what.

You are the first thing on my mind when I wake up, and the last thing when I go to sleep. Even through sleep, I’m always thinking of you. That doesn’t happen too often.

All clichés aside, I guess I can tell about the long story that inspired an entry a while ago.

There was someone who I became very close to. It was a long distance relationship, but we kept contact through email and he plays PW as well, so yeah, we had contact in plenty of ways. Would I say that I fell in love with him? I did care about him…a lot. Then one day, he sends me an email, effectively breaking up the relationship. Said something about it being more of a friendly relationship rather than romantic.

I’m emotional. I didn’t recover for a while. What made it worse was when I heard that he was with someone else…not even a week after. The story of my life, I said. Hence, the entry that I linked above.

Since that entry, one person, out of the blue, whispered me in game and said:

“Who would break up with someone as beautiful as you?”

(Yes, this person has seen a photo of me, because it’s on our faction’s forums)

For starters, I don’t think I’m beautiful. I don’t think I’m even pretty some days. I rely heavily on my sense of humor to be .5% more attractive to the opposite sex. But some days I just want to say “don’t say that, because there isn’t anything beautiful on me”. I’ve even told him this, but…he’s even more stubborn than I am. *giggles*

Anyway, since then, he’s been a great friend, a great partner in crime, and he is one of the sweetest guys that I’ve ever encountered. And you know what? I love him for that. How can you fall in love without meeting in person? It’s possible. It’s all about how the other party feels about you.

I told him to read this entry. I’m not expecting him to respond openly, but I just needed to get this out there. I am, indeed, a cynic still. But there are a few people who can help dispel the cynicism…and he’s one of them.
