Open-Ended Question: Business Consultation

Aug
24
I’ve tried my hand at running my own business. It’s really hard work, and requires lots of money and patience. Hell, some people go on and hire business plan consultants in case of stuff like that. Running a business isn’t for everyone, as I have proven to myself. Maybe if I had some consulting, it would help just a smidge. If you were to start your own business, would you look into business consulting? Why or why not?

The super-uneventful update.

I need a vacation…probably at a Daytona resort. Actually, no. Because I freaking hate the heat.

But anyway, nothing much is going on on this end. Same shit, different day. As sad as it sounds, I’m getting used to it, but it is pretty boring. I’m thinking that an RHSF comic is way overdue. I might do another gamer-related one, or one that proves my point of me not attempting to even operate a microwave.

Look out for that in a bit.

Open-Ended Question: Ugh, acne!!

Aug
14
I’ve always had some form of problem with acne. When I was 12 it was really bad. Combine it with being fat, and I was the butt of every possible joke. Since then, it hasn’t been that bad; a few here and there, but nothing to freak about. As of late though, I’m having a severe breakout on, of all places, my neck. There’s also little hairs popping up there as well (plucking has been a weekly occurrence now…-_-). The hair are an annoyance, but the acne is even worse, and I can’t find the right best acne treatment for it. So what do you use to combat acne?

Murray Feiss was always the black sheep in the family. He was always told to be like his 5 siblings, but he would purposely do the opposite, to his parents’ dismay. His parents put all of the children through school, and while 5 of them went into what would be considered “realistic career paths”, Murray decided that he was going to go into game designing.

He never heard the end of the verbal onslaught everyone dished out to him. It didn’t stop him though.

During one holiday, he and the rest of the family got together. Everyone was griping about how much they hate their job, saying that it was too dirty, too painful, too loud, and so on. Murray thought it would be a good idea to speak up from out of the crowd.

“I love my job.”

Everyone stared blankly at him, as if to say “how dare he interrupt?!”. Then one of his brothers said, “your job is why you’ve never had a girlfriend.”

Murray became silent. He can’t argue the truth. He did love his job, but everyone around him got married and had kids, and he’s never even had his first kiss. To have his brother make him realize that reduced him to tears, but lit another fire under him.

He has his job, now it’s time for him to find someone to make him truly happy.

(Not finished, I know, but I’m tired, lol)
