Intuition kicks ass!

I need advice at this point, because I just dug up some very disturbing info about my job. I don’t know if I mentioned this in the last protected post, but these people are being reported to the BBB for fucking up a job that, now that I’m looking at it, they weren’t really licensed to do in the first place. Names won’t be changed; the folks over there do not know about Crestfallen, and even if they did, this is password protected. Maybe the “registered users” thing would be easier. I might work that in for my next layout.

The Better Business Bureau serving Metropolitan New York has received a number of recent complaints against Always Ready Locksmith, a company that operates under multiple names, addresses and phone numbers. This questionable operation encourages desperate consumers to call with multiple yellow page advertisements under names such as Millennium Locksmith, Brooklyn Locksmith, and Columbus One Locksmith.

Consumers report to the BBB that Always Ready Locksmith overcharges for services in excess of $200. Consumers receive a low quote over the phone but when the repair man arrives to fix their locks, consumers are told that extra charges apply. These extra charges range in description from ‘emergency fees’ to ‘replacement costs’ to ‘service charges’. Consumers allege that the company installs broken or low quality locks for upwards of $200. Consumers also report that they are charged but their locks are not fixed and in some cases their locks are damaged further. Complaints describe poor customer service including cases of customer service representatives cursing at, laughing at, threatening, and hanging up on consumers.

The BBB discovered multiple advertisements for Always Ready Locksmith and its aliases that had been placed in the Yellow Pages of all New York City boroughs. When the BBB called the different phone numbers for the allegedly different locksmith businesses, the same person answered the phone each time, identifying the business as “Locksmith”. Within the past year, 11 New York metro area consumers have filed complaints against Always Ready Locksmith. Four complaints were closed “disputed” as the consumer remains dissatisfied with the company’s response. Always Ready Locksmith did not respond to two complaints and it currently has four pending complaints with the BBB.

The FBI , SECRET SERVICE, CIA, and US MARSHALLS have been given this Information:) along with the New Jersey and New york attourney General. Along with each prosecuters office in every 163 fake locations . They should not have messed with the silent Guard .

So file your Lawsuits now. This companty dosent have a prayer due to my pictures and telerecordings and all my evidence against them .

Now, the latter piece there is very interesting. I found another link that delves deeper, and names all the names they go under. There’s a part in there where they say that they can make $1.2 million dollars a year. My pay is actually under the table, despite how it was worded. Hence, no taxes are taken out, which can throw me in the financial grinder again. Well shit. I had a bad feeling, but remember that it took me a long time to get a job in the first place, so when they hired me on the spot, hell yeah, I was happy. And now the one that I get turns out to be these guys. Great.

Today I got yelled at because I forgot to get a phone number and zip from someone who wanted to open up a gumball machine. I had her on hold while I asked for the price of something as obscure as opening a gumball machine, and she hung up–not my fault. He asked if I got the number and zip. I forgot it, FFS. He said “the next time it happens it won’t happen”. Well, go right ahead. Try me. Besides, she probably would have called back anyway, since she has no fucking clue that she gets redirected back to us when she calls another number!

Now, here’s the thing. I need the money; I have lots of stuff to pay, and while this money is far from enough to pay much of anything, it helps a bit. And I have gone through the retail thing and either I’m overqualified or something, but none of them got back to me–not even Target (I should thank my lucky stars that I saved my feet from further onslaught). But I also have a feeling that something is going to jump off very soon, and I really don’t want to be there when that happens. I’m at that fork in the road and I don’t know anymore. And will this job be a repellent on my resume? That’s another thing. This is fucked up. Thank goodness for trusting my gut (and my mother for once).

Should I quit and hope that another job opportunity comes much sooner than later, or should I keep this one, plugwhore away, and hope that an employer calls me at my desk asking for an interview on the same day?
