Why I’ll never have a home gym.
All right, so my mom came up with the great idea of buying an exercise machine. I’ve gone on it a bit (I prefer walking or solo dancing), and she’s gone on it a little bit. Then my sister bought this other machine. It’s really hard to explain, but it requires you to be on the floor or close to it. They had the good idea–it would bring fitness to the home, but no one uses it, despite my sister’s “OMG, I’m fat” stories (she’s about 100 pounds lighter than me). I don’t know where the floor machine is, and the larger one my mom bought is accessible, but isn’t used much. I use it sometimes, but like I said, I prefer walking or dancing. I hear stories about people using their treadmills and ellipticals as hanging racks for their clothes, but I didn’t think that ours would be subject to clothing storage and cobweb collecting.
Oh well, I won’t be having that in my house. Besides, wouldn’t it be cheaper to go to the gym?
