…Because insomnia isn’t enough. It’s never enough.

Yeah, the body throws another curveball. I wake up in copious amounts of pain. Very unexplained pain. Well, I have a theory as to why.

Yesterday after my job interview, I met up with the loverly. But first, I walked home to change out of the interview clothes, threw on some shorts, and waited until when I thought he’d be there to meet me, then walked back the same route. We walked back to my house, and we were sitting outside for a bit, getting eaten alive by mutant mosquitoes. That’s thanks to my mom’s obsession with botany. He told me to let’s go for a walk, so we did so for another 10 minutes, then went back to my backyard for a little bit, then we went for yet another walk.

Side note: While we were on this walk, we saw an old man and he said to the loverly “You’re a lucky man.” I giggled a bit and asked him if he heard the man. He did.

So we get back from this walk, and we didn’t do much walking after that. Just lots and lots of affection. Me, the cuddlebug, remember? Anyway, it was time for him to go home, and we walked back to the bus stop, waited for his bus. When it came, he kissed me good night, then I walked back home.

This is the most walking I’ve done in a while, even if they were short ones, they added up to about 40 minutes worth of walking. Not opposed to it, but now my right hip and both my ankles (oh no, not again!) are killing me softly. I’m not sure why the hell my left shoulder’s hurting either. The hip and ankles can be from walking. But my left shoulder? No fucking clue. Maybe awkward positioning? Whatever. All I know is that it needs to cease and desist once and for all!

Well, at least I don’t have a migraine for once.

Hoi Thar.

Crestfallen is the 3.5-year-old site of a sarcastic 20-something natural-born New Yorker/California implant who goes by the name Nat Marie most days, but answers to many other things, including Shadow, Chickenhead, and "Hey Bitch!". She has a love for writing, performing arts, and cats (albeit allergic to them). You will find love, life, and a lot of writing and sarcasm sprinkled in. Enjoy.
