Wait–they still have those?
I remember way back when there were tube TV’s. You know, the ones with the protruding backs like it was giving Quasimodo a run for his money. You put it on your dresser, but it was too bulky. It was also too small to put it on the floor on its own. So the next solution: a TV wall mount. Put that sucker on a wall mount, and you have permanent holes in your wall, but your TV won’t have to be in your way when you’re ready to polish your dresser.
…Now they have flat-screen TV’s that mounts with no other assistance other than manual maneuvering. No screws to lose, no manuals to read that are in Japanese (even though they say it’s English).
PS: I am aware that there are still tube TV’s in existence.

That’s my TV, actually. Has a VCR player built into it and everything. 10 years in ownership and counting.

I have one of those. Er, had one, it broke and I had to throw it out. Sadly, those will all be useless once the country changes to that new digital stuff unless you have a converter box.
