More diet pill talk.
I remember that there was this diet pill called Fen-phen. It was all the rage back then, until it was banned over 10 years ago because it was linked to heart disease. Now this is what gets me. It’s supposed to supplement a person in weight loss (along with diet and exercise–but who really listens to that?) so that heart disease and hypertension risk is reduced. But yet it caused it. And so this is why diet pills are bad for you.
However, they’re not illegal, and people can get Phentermine without prescription. Sadly, most people put the typical diet pill on a pedestal as a “magic pill”. Like this woman did:
Woman: Ugh, I look fat!
Husband: You’re right. You do look fat. Here, take some phentermine!
Woman: Okay! (Takes the pill then shrinks to nothing but skin and bones 10 seconds later) I look sexy! Come over here, big boy!
Husband: Oh, no…I might break you.
