Did the rage cool down?
I remember when the PS3 came out 2 years ago and it seemed like everyone and their momma was risking eviction from their apartments and being forced to live in their mother’s basement because of it. I mean, $600 was more than I’ve seen in a month when I was working at Target. But yet, they sold out like hot cakes within minutes. Mind you, there were only 400,000 of them being sold in the US at first. So 400,000 people were playing their PS3′s, the other several million who were waiting on line with them were pretty much on said line for absolutely nothing.
So 2 years later–did the rage cool down? Well, considering that the US economy is shot, it has cooled down a bit. I mean, it’s $400 a pop, but you need to buy games for it, and those are $60 a pop. Gas prices cause some people to spend $400 a month (or even more than that). Gas or a PS3?
Some people decided to ride a bike to work.
