Even more nostaligia (I am full of the stuff, aren’t I?)

When my mom redid her room 19 years ago (ew, it seemed so long ago!), she came up with the great idea of putting down carpet and putting in window blinds. If you can’t notice the sarcasm in the last sentence, I will tell you why this was bad. 19 years ago, I was 4 years old. 19 years ago, my nephews were born. Three young children in a room with carpet and window blinds? Disaster. Now, my mom didn’t have to worry about my nephews until they were about 3 themselves, but remember, I was a 4-year-old terror, and I was fascinated with the way that the window blinds worked. I was fascinated to the point where I broke them. Oops. Well, serves Mom right. However, seeing as she doesn’t have the problem of having young children around (other than my nieces, who are 8), she not only got window blinds in her room, but she got them for the rest of the house too.

All’s well that ends well? Most definitely.

Hoi Thar.

Crestfallen is the 3.5-year-old site of a sarcastic 20-something natural-born New Yorker/California implant who goes by the name Nat Marie most days, but answers to many other things, including Shadow, Chickenhead, and "Hey Bitch!". She has a love for writing, performing arts, and cats (albeit allergic to them). You will find love, life, and a lot of writing and sarcasm sprinkled in. Enjoy.
