I love how the Impromptu Shorties are believable.
For those who aren’t sure what the Impromptu Shorties are, they are super-short stories that I usually make up literally on the fly. They are absolutely fictional, and aren’t references to real-life people that I know.
However, to some people, some may sound extremely realistic, which wasn’t the intent at all. Besides, it’s fictional. Fiction doesn’t have much truth in it at all. I’ve gotten a few replies on some of them, and asked if it was a true story. No it isn’t, but it sounded pretty convincing. That’s cool in my book. I recently got a comment on my latest IS and that is what triggered this entry. It’s interesting because here I am thinking I’m writing something completely made up and I’ve kinda convinced/tricked people into thinking differently. Oops. Totally unintentional.
You know how there are real stories that sound completely made up and someone says “it’s true; I shit you not”? Here’s my quote: “it’s fake; I shit you not.”
Thanks for reading on, folks.

Yes but is there an intent behind the shorty. Just something to fill in time and exercise the idle mind. Or maybe a lesson to be taught.
It’s kinda funny. Sometimes in telling martial arts histories some give no importance to whether the history is really true. It can be told as a true history and usually is but the importance is in the lesson. The history itself is considered useless.
