Even with my weight loss…
I still wouldn’t resort to weight loss pills for extra results.
Now, I guess it can work for some people. But a lot of people go into these fad diets that involve weight loss pills thinking that that’s all there is to it. There’s more work to it. First of all, pop a pill, but don’t go and them eat 5 Big Macs afterwards (hell, don’t even eat one; I made a big mistake one time and ate two in one sitting before looking at the calories…one of them damn things have 540 calories in it–damn.). Pop a pill, and keep it moving. Literally.
But some people don’t do that. They even say that in the commercials and even in the fine print on the bottle that diet and exercise is required. But in people’s minds…whoosh! Over the head! Magic pill–and for $20 a pop, they don’t mind it, because it will make them lose 50 pounds, even if it will make them jittery or even cause anal leakage. Then what happens is their hundreds are wasted because they disregard the fine print–pop the pills, eat 3,000 calories worth of Big Macs every day, then sit and watch Jerry Springer and The Young and The Restless.
So you see, if you’re going to try weight loss pills, then make sure you look at everything, not just at what you want to look at. That’s what will get you in a whole mess of trouble. Then whose fault is that?
