Is it a business policy? Or for decoration?
I live in an area where it’s essential for stores to have exterior shutters. You can’t really just lock a door and not expect someone to not break in and steal stuff. At least with the shutters, it’s harder. Not completely fool proof, but if you’ve touched one of them things, most of them are pretty sturdy, and bulletproof.
You know what I’ll never understand though? There are stores near me that are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Then I look up, and there’s shutters. Why bother? Or is it a business policy? Eh, whatever.

I always wondered why 24/7 stores even had locks on the doors. I think it’s just in case they need to close…in an emergency or something?
