I think…I love dance again!
I don’t know if I mentioned this, but I went dancing school when I was 9. I did ballet, jazz, African, and tap. Was I any good? No, but I caught on with ballet very quickly–thanks to my bowed legs. In any event, I ended up quitting after a few months. I guess I was frustrated that everyone around me was getting the steps, and even with extra tutoring, I still couldn’t get it.
Now my niece goes to dancing school, and she’s adorable in her dance clothes. She can catch on to the moves, despite her going into the class in the middle of the year (the year starts in September-October, and she enrolled in January). She makes me want to go back and try again. So I came across this site called Just For Kix. Not only does it sell dancewear, but also cheerwear, something that I used to do too… *hides*
But Just For Kix has dancewear, shoes, and accessories for all ages and all levels of dance. Beginner? They have them for you. Professional (or almost)? Yep. Child? They have a youth section. Adult? There’s some for you too. And they have a cheerwear section that is just as extensive.
If I decide to go back into dancing (namely ballet), then I’ll take a closer look around. Should be interesting to see how I do this time around–14 years later.
