I need to work on getting shit done.

I think my middle name should have been Procrastina instead of Marie.

This is exactly why I’m constantly swamped. I would start something, then don’t go back to it for weeks (sometimes months) on end. And then, whether or not I decide to finish it is up in the air.

Let me give you an example. I was working on a layout for Crestfallen about a month back. I neglected it, and completely scrapped the idea. I went on to another layout, one that should have definitely been up already since it’s a St. Patty’s Day layout. Neglected it, and since it’s only a few days away, it makes no sense putting it up now (not that it was coded in the first place). So I started on another one. I coded this one and everything. I don’t remember the last time I worked on that. Angel asks me every time I come on AIM about it. I say “still working on it”. Her response: “Damn.” And I don’t blame her, because I say the same thing. Thing is, I’m working on a layout that’s a bit hard to code. Even more so than the winter layout, which was hell to code, and I still never got it right. It’s coming out fine, but there are a few things that is annoying the hell out of me, and if it takes me till 5am one night, I’ll work it in somehow.

Other things on my perpetual to-do list:

-Actually get P739 launched…again. This includes finishing the layout, and adding the articles…all in time for March 16th, which is, technically on the US East Coast, tomorrow.
-Work on kicking the P739 Boards in the ass in terms of activity.
-Dust off Antihero and update it…finally. This includes doing a new layout, and adding the rest of the thumbnails.

And this is just online. The list is longer than my ex’s genitalia (but then again, anything‘s longer than that) when you include offline stuff.

Oy. Fricken. Vey. There are certain things that I wish I had more help with (like the P739 thing), but I think I’ll get it done faster on my own. Which isn’t saying much seeing as I’m dragging my ass on the floor with it.

Yeah, good luck to my ass.

A non-sequitur: I just had a random thought about The Writer. I miss him like a fat kid misses seeing his feet.

Hoi Thar.

Crestfallen is the 3.5-year-old site of a sarcastic 20-something natural-born New Yorker/California implant who goes by the name Nat Marie most days, but answers to many other things, including Shadow, Chickenhead, and "Hey Bitch!". She has a love for writing, performing arts, and cats (albeit allergic to them). You will find love, life, and a lot of writing and sarcasm sprinkled in. Enjoy.
