My dad took the AC out of my room window too early.
It is now 66 degrees at 12 midnight right now. It is now October 18th. Landlords could turn the heat on for their tenants 3 days ago. I wonder who has turned on the heat already if they live in an apartment, because I’m here burning up. I’m lucky though; my dad already said that he was not turning the heat on before December 24th (he’s joking by the way). This is freaking ridiculous though. Normally around this time, the bubble coats start coming out of the closet. I’m tempted to bring out the capris again. What the hell?! This is the kind of weather that gets people sick. Unfortunately, I have no fan. So I’m weighing heavily on water intake. Ice water intake. October, Mother Nature! It’s fucking October! I swear it, next week there’s going to be a blizzard. With this kind of weather, it wouldn’t seem too impossible. I mean, it has happened 40 years ago in Northern Illinois. If this isn’t more signs of what global warming is doing, I don’t know what is.
In other news, I have a question: Have you ever met someone who has a strong passion for the same thing you have a strong passion for?
What I mean is that if you have a passion for writing, have you met someone with that same passion. No lie, I didn’t. Until just recently. A guy just came into the program a month ago. First of all, yes, I think he’s attractive. No, I don’t have a chance in hell with him. But anyway, something told me to talk to him. If you know me, you’ll know that talking to guys who I’m attracted to is not an easy feat. So this was ballsy, to say the least. We’re talking and he’s telling me how he loves to write and he was writing a novel. Immediately, my eyes widened. I’ve touched on most writing genres, and novels have come to mind, but it was the matter of my brain being able to handle it. I love Piscean intuition. I had a feeling, and I acted upon it, something that is a rarity of mine. Not only is he a great writer (I have read quite a few from him so far), but talking to him some more has shown me that he is very well-spoken. Now do you know why one of my mottoes are “Creativity is Sexy”?
I have a feeling that the DSP has an idea that I’m slightly attracted to him. But like I said, I really don’t stand a chance in hell. I don’t think so anyway. Maybe I do. Maybe something will give. Only time will tell. But this is a really nice budding friendship, to say the least.

it’s already mid-october and it’s still hot? awww… i’m glad that the weather’s fine here 
i have never met a person like that. maybe because i’m not the “master-of-one” type… meaning my passions cannot be considered as “passions”. really! i have an attention span of a goldfish so it’s really hard for me to focus my attention on something for a very long time *rolls eyes*
hey! maube, just maybe, he’s your soulmate. who knows? soulmates doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to be “in-love”.

I’m feeling the SAME way right now with the Weather. I took the AC out on Monday because it was getting down into the 50′s at night and since there’s only one window in the bedroom, taking the AC out seemed like a great option. Right now it’s pushing 80° and I’m beyond annoyed because it’s so warm in there. I woke up a lot earlier than usual just so I could get out to the living room in hopes to get some cooler air. I’ll be up in NY this weekend for a few days and I know from the get-go that it’s still going to be pushing 80° until about Monday. UNFAIR!
I have met someone like that, unfortunately he’s no longer with us but you already know that whole story. I have found the same qualities in Sean though, we both share passions that most people wouldn’t understand. Writing is a pretty general comparison – even though it is very important to me. The more unique passions like a hobby that isn’t too well known is the kicker for me.
It’s kind of like that Mastercard commercial with the three kids. “Backpacks – $25, Being with someone who gets you – Priceless”

I know what you mean about the weather! I’m experiencing the same thing where I live… it’s really cold for a few days, then it’ll jump up 20 degrees.

hmmm. Mother Nature is crazy lately.
Oh yeah, I’ve met so many people who has the same passion as mine. I met someone who loves THE HOURS and FIGHT CLUB, both books and movies. And he’s also a BAYERN MUNICH fan (soccer), we admire the same player. Oooh. Creepy, to be honest. But it was fun.

We’re having that same tempature. Just last week it was freezing, but recently it’s been around 85 degrees. It’s so wierd! Congrats on gettin ballsy enough to talk to that guy, lol.

So that’s where all our heat is!
It’s currently 10 degrees Celsius here, which is about 50 Fahrenheit. Sounds more like the temperatures you should be getting!

I’m freaking waiting for this supposed cold front that’s supposed to come in today to get here. Down here in southern Texas, winter is a joke. It’s like a week or two of semi-cold weather and then we’re wearing our shorts and tank tops again. It’s a constant inferno down here. I feel your pain.

I find it ridiculous that some spectics and scientists think the earth is cooling down and will eventually turn into another ice age. That’s a load of crap. LOL!
