Britney should have brought ‘More’ to the VMAs.
That’s what many viewers thought as they watched the nervous, punch-drunk and extremely stiff Brit stumble her way through her make-or-break performance of ‘Gimme More.’ Could it have been the fact that she was out partying until 3 A.M. the night before her big comeback instead of practicing her lip synching?
I saw the video before they swiped it up. I feel sorry for her. Normally I wouldn’t, but I really do because I know that had she not fucked around with K-Fed, she would not be in this predicament. It’s like Whitney when she met Bobby–downhill ever since. Well, actually, at least Whitney did clean up after leaving Bobby. But back to Miss Spears. K-Fed fucked her up. Fucked her, then fucked her up. I will keep on saying it because I really don’t think she’d be like this otherwise.
There’s also the possibility of postpartum depression, but really, all this started from the moment she got married to the baby momma droppin’ nut case. The head shaving? That was a breaking point. Her being drunk? That’s a breaking point. Her dressing like a 2-for-1 coupon ho on national TV making a total ass of herself? You get the idea. I really hope that this is a rude awakening. I certainly wouldn’t want her kids to see this and say “mommy, what the hell were you wearing?” (Trust me, these days, 3-year-olds are saying the word “fuck”.) Girlie, you had a chance to redeem yourself, now when you’re sober, you have lots of ‘splaining to do. And don’t pull an Ashlee–we know it wasn’t the band’s fault, and we know that you didn’t have acid reflux.
And in the words of the “Dominator” Justin Timberlake–”MTV, I challenge you to play more videos!”

I…couldn’t even watch that whole performance. That was sad. I think we’d respect her more if she’d just decided not to come back at all.

I saw bits of it on Inside Edition or the news or somewhere. I would not have expected anything different, except the lip syncing surprises me. Maybe Kevin is to blame, but I think she was headed this direction before Kevin even came into the picture. (Btw, I apologize for my Despair comment being a few hours late…)

It was a really sad performance. She looked like a deer caught in headlights and that outfit was atrocious. I feel bad for her and I’m sure that this performance isn’t adding anything good to her life.

I’m not all that updated on today’s pop media stuffs so I didn’t hear about this. I do know just from looking at the magazines in the grocery store, however, that the press just won’t leave her be. I’d hate my privacy to be invaded like that 24/7. No wonder all these celebs are going to rehab–the paparazzi are driving them insane! Hehehe.
