Turkey and stuffing and buffalo wings

♪ Turkey and stuffing and buffalo wings,
These are a few of my favorite things ♫

For those in the US, I hope you aren’t hungover with turkey! I wasn’t online for a few days. I was caught up in the holiday spirit sort of, so I just chilled out with family. My Thanksgiving was pretty good, loads of food, loads of family, and a headache to boot. Can’t wait to do it all again Christmas Eve.

Did anyone start decorating for Christmas yet (Or Hanukkah, or Kwanzaa, or…whatever you may celebrate)? My mom took out the tree last Tuesday, and started decorating on Wednesday, and just finished today. We also put up some garland and lights on the outside. It’s looking purty, at the expense of my father, who said that he wants to become a Jehovah’s Witness so that he doesn’t have to put them up, lol. He’s such a Scrooge around this time of the year. I don’t know why though, he actually likes when the house is all decked out in Christmas decorations. This is my favorite time of the year. Come the middle of January until March, I’d probably be saying something completely different. V-Day…*shudders* It’s too early for that now, but trust me, after all the holidays are over, every freaking store is going to start decorating for that Godforsaken “holiday”, if you want to call it that. *mumbles* Making single people feel even more pathetic…ANYWAY!

I’m overly tired these days. In fact, I’m typing this up at 2 in the morning, and as of late, that’s a rarity. I mean, I’m happy that I am going to bed at a normal time, but that means that I hardly can make time to fix certain projects up. It’s rather disheartening. It’s almost like I’m losing my mojo. That is not cool. Mojo loss leads to other things, and I have no idea what it leads to, but I’m almost certain that it’s not good. In any event, I will be trying to fit in as much as I can without kerplopping on my keyboard. I promise this time. I know I’ve been saying it for weeks, but serious this time. Trust me. :D Please? All right, kerplopping is kicking in. Laters.

I spent it with my son. We didn’t do a “traditional” Thanksgiving turkey crap; we just played and had fun and then had a regular dinner (I planned chicken with biscuits, after I made it he wanted mac and cheese). The next night we spent it with my mom’s boyfriend’s family. We could have had toast, it was still the best Thanksgiving I’ve probably had in many years.

My hubby and I put up the Christmas tree on Sunday, Nov. 26th while our son watched. Then only thing I did not like about the Christmas decorations thing was that the lady that lives across from us has the church on the other side of us pay her electric bill and puts a lot of lights out for each holiday. I am almost ready to report her to the church as I am suer the bill is very high.

It sounds like you had a fantastic Thanksgiving. I’m glad to hear that. I know how much you love Thanksgiving, hehe. Anyway, I can’t believe your mom has already finished decorating for Xmas. We are so last minute people, lol. Anyway I haven’t seen your ass online lately, I miss you!
